Excellence is worship.
The quality of the production should match the weight of the message. If a sermon can change a life, it deserves a thumbnail, title, and edit that ensures it reaches that life.

hello@davidslingmedia.comThat is not a tagline. It is the conviction that built this entire company.
I sat in a church service one Sunday and heard a sermon that genuinely moved me. The kind of message that stays with you for days. Later that week, I went to find it on YouTube so I could share it with a friend.
What I found was a single-angle recording with no edits, no thumbnail, a title that said Sunday Service 11/12, and 47 views. Forty-seven. A message that powerful, buried under a mountain of algorithm indifference.
That was the moment I knew something had to change.
I started looking at church YouTube channels across the country and I found the same story everywhere. Pastors pouring hours into sermon preparation — studying, praying, crafting messages with real depth. And then the recording would get uploaded with zero production, zero strategy, and zero chance of reaching anyone beyond the people already sitting in the pews.
The gap was not talent. It was not even budget. The gap was a pipeline. Churches simply did not have the system, the expertise, or the time to turn a sermon recording into YouTube content that actually performs.
Meanwhile, secular creators with far less substance were reaching millions — because they understood thumbnails, SEO, retention editing, and distribution. The playing field was not level, and it bothered me deeply.
I built David's Sling Media to be the production team that every church deserves but few can afford to build in-house. Not a freelancer who edits a video and disappears. A full pipeline — strategy, editing, thumbnails, SEO, Shorts, publishing, and analytics — designed specifically for sermon content.
The model is simple: you preach, we handle everything else. Upload your raw footage, and within days you have a professionally edited video, a click-worthy thumbnail, an SEO-optimized title, and Shorts already pulling new viewers to your channel.
Every single week. Consistently. Reliably. Like clockwork.

The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.
— 1 SAMUEL 17:37
When David faced Goliath, he did not have the armor, the army, or the conventional weapons. What he had was a stone, a sling, and an unshakeable conviction that the battle was the Lord’s.
That is the story of every church on YouTube right now. The Goliath is the algorithm, the noise, the polished secular content competing for the same eyeballs. Most churches feel outmatched.
That is where I come in. I am the sling.
Your sermon is the stone — the substance, the truth, the message God gave you to deliver. My job is to take that stone and launch it with precision, with strategy, with everything the platform demands, so that it lands exactly where it needs to.
I am Maksim— founder, lead editor, and the person who will probably answer your first email personally. I built David’s Sling Media because I believe the local church has the most important message in the world, and it deserves the best production the digital space has to offer.
My background is in video production, YouTube strategy, and digital marketing. But what drives me is simpler than a résumé: I want every sermon to find the person who needs to hear it.

The quality of the production should match the weight of the message. If a sermon can change a life, it deserves a thumbnail, title, and edit that ensures it reaches that life.
02
I don't just edit your videos. I learn your voice, your congregation, your mission. Every piece of content I produce should feel like your team made it — because in every way that matters, I am your team.
03
Views without purpose are noise. I care about the metrics that matter: watch time, subscriber growth, click-through rate, and most importantly, whether the message is reaching new people.
04
I build pipelines, not one-off projects. The goal is a repeatable, reliable system that turns every sermon into content — week after week, without you thinking about it.
I would love to hear about your church, your vision, and how I can help your sermons reach the people who need them most.
